Online Wedding Invitation

As the UX/UI designer for this project, I had the exciting opportunity to create a digital wedding invitation that reflected the couple's unique love story and offered an intuitive and seamless experience for their guests. The goal was to design an invitation that blended elegance with functionality, allowing users to easily navigate through event details, RSVP, and access additional resources like gift registries and venue directions. Throughout the project, I focused on crafting a user-centered design that was visually appealing while ensuring accessibility and ease of use across devices.

Iconography

The bride possesses a remarkable talent for watercolor painting, and it was essential to incorporate this artistic flair into the wedding invitation. To achieve this, I worked on digitizing several of her original paintings, ensuring they were seamlessly integrated into the website's design. Additionally, I developed an introductory animation that aimed to capture the essence of traditional printed invitations while enhancing the digital experience with a touch of elegance and personalization.

For the animation of the icons I thought of using Rive, is a design and animation tool that allows designers and developers to create interactive animations and motion graphics that can be easily integrated into various platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and games. It combines the power of vector graphics with a robust animation engine, enabling users to design animations that respond to user input, such as clicks, taps, or other interactions.

Rive is particularly known for its real-time animation capabilities, allowing users to see changes and adjustments instantly as they work. It also supports state machines, which help create complex animations that need to respond to different states or conditions, such as button presses, loading sequences, or character movements.
